Great Pet Insurance! Period.

Nationwide has been excellent to work with in regards to all my dog’s insurance claims. Easy claim process, great turn-around time on claim amount reimbursement, knowledgeable customer service every time I have called in, the list goes on! One of the best insurance providers for pets in the market.

Nationawide has been so easy to use I love it.

Nationwide has been the easiest insurance to use. I tell all my friends and anytime I see someone with a new puppy. My Ralphie has had a few mishaps, he's a very rambunctious puppy! And on top of that has a very sensitive tummy and has to have prescription food. This insurance has been a blessing with it all. Thank you Nationwide

Great and fast service

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a pleasure to deal with. Claims are easy to make and paid swiftly. We have had coverage for 8 years and have not had any problems at all. All insurance companies should live up to their standards.

Great service / Great Coverage - Perplexed by the annual increase in premiums!

I'm so happy to have Mister covered by Nationwide Pet. We've always had great response with inquiries and fast claims processing. However, my annual premium has increased 80% in just one year! This is outrageous, and something that is giving me pause to continue past this next year. If the annual increase is similar in the future, I'll need to find other coverage. I understand underwriting, and insurance policies, but this sort of increase was insane!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
