Nationwide is great

I love Nationwide. I have had it for years. (And not just pet insurance) I have always found the company easy to work with, quick on claims payment, and I enjoy the fact that I get to choose my vet. Not just certain ones

Surgery Went Great!

Clifford had to have major surgery on 3 bulging discs. He is doing well, but we still have to keep him quiet for a while longer. Nationwide was an awesome help with this process! Thank you!

Nationwide is on my side

I cannot express how grateful I am for NPI. We have two rescue dogs and we have had some ups and downs with their health but we feel 100% ready to give them the care they need and deserve because they are both covered. We don’t have to make tough calls due to cost... if they need care, they get care. Thank you so much, Nationwide... you are truly on our side.

Pet Insurance is Worth It

I think this insurance is great. I wish I could just pay copayments like my Health Insurance but maybe one day that will happen. This policy is good though because after paying the $250 deductible, Nationwide will reimburse me yYrti90% of the veterinarian’s bill without any limits of schedule of payments including well care.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
