Glad to have this coverage

I think the price in creases to premiums have been enormous each year. At the end of the day I’m still glad to have the peace of mind and filing claims is easy and the reimbursement checks come fairly quickly.

Easy to file claim

I have a 9 month old French Bulldog who has had pneumonia and the BOAS surgery. For the pneumonia he had an emergency pet visit and had to stay overnight. Nationwide covered the claim quickly. They also covered the BOAS surgery my dog had 3 weeks ago - again very quickly. Submitting a claim is really easy and you can do it straight from your phone. So far I have had one claim denied and it was because it was a pre-existing condition as it was something Vet had written in file first time I took him in for visit and policy wasn't in effect yet. The representative I spoke to gave me all the information as to why the claim was denied. Very patient and answered all my questions.

Our 4-Legged daughter would have had to be put down without the insurance.

Nicky is a rescue. Her back leg always seemed a little weak, but didn't stop her from running, jumping, playing. A few months ago, it becamse painful. Our vet checked and said there was some inflammation and gave us pills. Didn't work so tried a DVM Chiropractor. Helped somewhat, but after 4 adjustments and anti-inflammatory pills, it just wasn't working. Back to original vet who took X-rays and found a Cruciate Ligament Tear. Apparently, during the X-ray, major damage was done to the spine. Surgery scheduled with specialist, but once he saw her, said there was more going on, so he gave her an epideral. In less than 2 weeks, epideral was wearing off, so a 2nd epideral was scheduled. Again when he saw her, said she really needed an MRI with another specialist. That showed bulging disc pressing against the nerve -- but on the right side -- Not the left where the original knee problem started. Now both surgeriers were recommended, and a 2nd epideral was given. Even with insurance couldn't afford both surgeries. After 2-1/2 weeks, the back actually seemed to be getting better, so the ACL surgery was again scheduled. After only one day, she is sore, but up and around and doing fantastically. Nicky is both my Service Dog and a Therapy, so we are together 24/7. Had it not been for the insurance, the pain would have continued to get worse, and she would have had to be put down. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

The Best Insurance

This is the best insurance I have found for my girl. She has a lot of allergies and requires medication every month, and sometimes is prone to getting into trouble. And this insurance is the best fit for her. I have her customized and I have never had a problem since purchasing this over two years ago. The turn around getting my claim done is awesome and goes right into our account. I make sure I tell everyone about this insurance and our vet now gives out Nationwide as a go to for pet insurance. Ya'll are the go to for insurance and its very affordable and coverage is wonderful.
