Awesome Service!

Nationwide has been our partner for nearly 8 years now. For every claim they are responsive and expeditious in their process and have been there for Milo and us whenever he needed care. I cannot imagine having a pet without Nationwide as my Pet Insurance partner! Thank you for all you do and have done for Milo, we appreciate it!

Great Improvement

I love how easy it is to use the app to submit claims and also I have noticed the last few have been processed significantly faster than I remember it used to take close to a month lately it’s been within a week or two I am glad to see the claim payout improving timewise.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been Great !

I was hesitant to but pet insurance wondering what would be covered and what wouldn't. It's not cheap but for us it has proven worth the cost. Customer Service has been great and answered all our questions. Nationwide has covered (90%) of all the claims we have submitted including wellness visits and meds. We are happy we got the insurance coverage and very happy with Nationwide.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
