Claim Questions
Every time I call about claims questions, I always get the nicest customer service agents. Once they even re-submitted a claim for me and I got paid on it.
My dog has 2 diseases, Addison’s Disease & Epilepsy. He would not be alive without the help of insurance to get diagnosis and receiving lifetime medications.

Gracie's Cancer Treatment
My Chow Chow Gracie has been battling cancer for the last several months and I would have been completely lost without my Nationwide pet insurance policy for Gracie. They turned around Gracie's numerous claims in usually 2-3 days and the payments were immediately direct deposited into my checking account. I would never have been able to treat my baby's cancer if it wasn't for Nationwide.....I am eternally indebted to them because Gracie is my whole life and way too young to just let cancer take her from me without trying to help her. Thank you Nationwide!!

I am new to Nationwide pet insurance--Highly recommend
I am new to Nationwide pet insurance. I called and spoke with Connie & she was pleasant, professional & informative. She explained the policy in great detail. What a wonderful experience, we are glad that we choose Nationwide. Connie should be acknowledged for a job well done! Excellent Customer Service. I will highly recommend Nationwide because of Connie. Hopefully, we have the same experience if we need to submit a claim!

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
