Great coverage and efficient service

Nationwide's Whole Pet with Wellness Plan has been an excellent fit for my dog. The plan includes great coverage for vet visits, and the reimbursement process is very efficient with quick turnaround time. I have had no issues with this plan and am very pleased with the coverage.

Nationwide Is On My Side

My dog's recently vet bill was expense, but Nationwide saved the day when they reimbursed me back 90% of my bill and in less than 30 days!!! Thank you Nationwide!

Helps me provide the best care

This insurance house helping me provide the best care for my older dog that has multiple health problems. I really don't know what I would have done without it because the procedures he has needed we're very expensive. I really am grateful for this insurance company who has helped me keep my little Toby in my life.

I took my dog to the vet for his annual physical and shots. Nationwide paid my claim promptly. I have never had any issues with Nationwide. I received email notification when they received my claim and other emails letting me know the status of the claim. I highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance. Thank you very much!

Glad I got

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
