So far so good
I have had the policy for about 18 months now and have had coverage from X-rays to vaccines. Easy to submit and the explanation of benefits are easy to understand.

Great Customer Service
Nationwide has 30 days to process claims and my claim was processed within two weeks!!! Nationwide also followed up with to check on my dog was doing,which was appreciated!

Been insured for over 11 years and very happy with Shadow's coverage.
Quality pet healthcare is a must. Shadow has been insured for 12 years + and I am happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance. I highly endorse them and it will insures he gets care when he needs it. They are caring and take care of claims quickly.

excellent service with quick payment of claims
I am very happy and pleased at the service of Nationwide for my pets. Both have had issues in their first year, and the cost of the insurance premium has now been greatly offset by the payment for the office visits. It was very easy to file a claim online, and the payment came within 1-2 weeks. I would recommend this insurance to any pet owner.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
