Completely worth it!

I went back and forth about getting pet insurance. However what won me over was the convenience of having it payroll deducted. Then I learned about the benefits of coverage. Like 90% of a vet bill is refunded after you pay you deductible. I treat my dog as my fur child. She gets regular check ups, vaccinations and had to have surgery. I'm so glad I made the choice.

Thank You Nationwide

I was ready to cancel my pet insurance with VPI after getting little to no benefits from it ...and then Nationwide took over & I’ve been reimbursed for a good portion of several recent vet emergencies! Finally! Thank You Nationwide!! You rock!

Reimbursement of veterinarian expenses couldn’t have gone better

My dog recently had surgery on his ACL. I was a little worried that Nationwide would give me a hard time about reimbursing me for my expenses. I was pleasantly surprised! No questions asked, Nationwide processed the claim and I was reimbursed per my insurance plan’s stipulations in less than a month! I am very satisfied with Nationwide and recommend Nationwide to anyone with a pet.

I’m satisfied

I’m very pleased with Nationwide handling my claims. I was a little hesitant to get an insurance for my dog but now I have a piece of mind knowing that Bella will be taking care off.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
