We are so pleased with Nationwide Pet Insurance

When our dog first joined our family, we started using Trupanion Pet Insurance. We were so disappointed in our experience that we struggled with the idea of using pet Insurance at all. A friend recommended Nationwide, and switching was the greatest decision we could have made. Our doggie baby has, unfortunately, been experiencing a rough year (heath-wise), and Nationwide has been so helpful. Thank you!

Absolutely the Best!

I cannot say enough positive things about Nationwide pet insurance. Had it not been for the insurance, I would have had to put my kitty down. From the customer service down to the coverage, I could not have asked for better support. I have been telling all my pet owner friends about this pet insurance because I truly believe you saved my kitty. Thank you!

Avoid the Wellness Care - Overpriced!

Let me start this by saying that overall, I love Nationwide. They've been great every time my pets have needed care. BUT -- the wellness care is not worth the price you pay for it. I was given a "hard sell" pitch when I called in to ask questions. I was not told that the deductible applied to the wellness care. Overall, I spent a great deal more on wellness care than I got out of it, even with a neuter surgery. I've been kicking myself all year for falling for the pitch and dishing out way more money than I should have. I can't wait for renewal to dump that portion of my dog's coverage. That said, if you're just looking for major medical coverage in case of accident or illness, you can't go wrong with Nationwide. Claims are easy to submit and paid relatively quickly. I've never had any problem getting claims paid, either, and I have been a customer for about 10 years.
