I Love nationwide would of had to put my pup down if wasn’t for them

My pup had a rare condition called primary renal bleeding went through multiple testing cystoscope with cauterization and stenting which worked to stop the bleeding just had her stent removed yesterday and spayed doing great thank you nation wide

Good company.

Nationwide is a good company. Your reimbursement is excellent once you reach your deductible. They make it simple to submit a claim.They only negative is that it can sometimes take awhile to receive your reimbursement

Best decision I have ever made as a pet owner

We have never purchased pet insurance for previous dogs but, we did for Ellis and it was the best decision. Routine vet visits, health visits, things a puppy needs are expensive and it is nice to have coverage that reimburses some of those costs. The ability to file a claim using the VitusVet app make it simple to upload invoices and Nationwide process the claims very quickly. Love the direct transfer to bank account feature.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
