Awesome customer service and coverage.

Human health insurance covers wellness, this pet insurance does this as well. Reasonable premiums, deductible, and wonderful customer service. the 24/7 VetHelp Line is an wonderful plus as well. The only company I would insure a pet through! Our Vet and staff speaks highly of Nationwide!

Excellent. Covered 90% of all expenses, painlessly and quickly. Our claim was around $6000. I can't say enough good things about Nationwide Whole Wellness. I've had it for a couple years and the plan has never let me down.

Always great service

Otis is a curious pup and this year has proven to be quite the doozy! I am so glad we have this coverage as it has helped with the cost of all of his antics. I am especially grateful for the vetline as it helped me decide when to go to the vet vs. urgent care. I tell everyone I know about this service, I don't know what we would do without it. Anytime I call, everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable about the info I need. Thanks!

Amazing company!

I highly recommend pet insurance for your pup. I work very hard to keep my furry kids healthy, from the inside out. I feed high quality and supplement with home made food. But stuff happens. Nationwide has been great! They are true to their word.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
