Persistence!

Really appreciate the persistence and follow-up that Nationwide did for Boudicca. You processed our claims immediately for our other three cats, but for some reason, our vet was not providing you all the records you needed for Boudicca. It took a while, but you kept at it and retroactively processed prior claims fully. Also appreciated the monthly updates you sent, saying you were still reviewing the claims.

Nationwide Pet insurance is absolutely the best pet insurance!!!

I shopped around for pet insurance when I purchased my 2 Yorkie puppies and Nationwide Pet Insurance is by far the best pet insurance available! I HIGHLY recommend Nationwide to all my friends and family, and to anyone else that may be looking for insurance for their babies!

Unsatisfied lately

I hate giving a bad review, but I feel like explaining my situation may be helpful for the future. Lately I have submitted some invoices where I received emails starting that either the wrong dogs name was listed, the invoice or claim form wasn't attached, or wrong invoice was attached for wrong dog. I have two dogs and have submitted invoices with both listed and separate claim forms. I don't understand why lately my claims have been rejected as none if the above was occurring. I am not sure how things got so mixed up, but I hope they get resolved fur the future as my coverage end in July and I am open to switching services if needed. As I said, I have never had these issues in the past and have always been satisfied with the services. I hope these issues can be resolved as I hate to wait 3-4 weeks only to hear I need to submit my claim again for whatever the reason. Thanks for your time, Jessica

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
