Vet office visit
Raven received her prescription food and she also had an office visit for an updated vaccine.
Both claimes were handled in a very timely manner.

We love Nationwide!
Our little 4.4lb maltese Rainey got sick. We really did not know what was happening. It took awhile to get things under control. Turns out that she had bronchitis which may be due to asthma. We will see. Love Nationwide Pet Insurance. Claims are paid so quickly. I highly recommend anyone with a dog or cat to get this pet insurance. You will not be disappointed. Our insurance includes the wellness plan. Very easy to submit a claim.

Good insurance, could be more forthcoming with information
My only complaint is the length of time it takes for them to post information about your claim on their website. They used to post the date and the amount of the claim right away. Now it takes a long time to just post that they received the claim, then it takes a couple of weeks for them to just post how much the claim is for. When they finally post the amount the claim is for, they also post how much they're paying out and show the eob. Then it takes a few weeks to receive the check.

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
