This is our second dog we have had covered and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

We are now on our second coverage on our latest dog. We had our last PON covered and she had a rough end but we knew we had to do what you can to help and the insurance helped in making sure she was comfortable. Now Dominique has had coverage since she was 3 months old and she just turned 5 and I never have second thoughts about not renewing her policy. We love this company. Thank you.

Great peace of mind when caring for my dog.

Getting Nationwide pet insurance was the best decision I've made as a pet owner. Right after I got it I didn't really need it and I was worried that I spent the money for nothing but then when my doggy got sick it was very reassuring knowing that Nationwide would help us handle anything that comes our way. I recommend it to all pet owners I know and I recommend it to everybody, everywhere right now. If you're on the fence about it, you should get. I always say, Nationwide really is on your side.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
