In a very stressful situation, my pet insurance help alleviate the monetary concern , thank you.

Words are not enough to thank you . The day I discovered my Chloe's lump , I was very upset . I brought her to the vet thinking of the worst but everything is fine. After the relief that my baby will be okay , I realized that I didn't have to spend a lot of money , not that it matters, but it helps alleviate some of the stress . I could focus on caring gor her. Thank you!

Helpful and diligent

My experience has been very smooth with Nation wide let insurance. There is always someone available to answer every question. They reach out to me to keep me updated on any claims. The process of filling and receiving payments are so seamless and transparent. I truly feel they care and want things to go a smooth as possible for me and my puppy

Decent turn around time on claims

The app for submitting claims works nicely and quickly. Time to receive reimbursement took a little longer than previously. Could it be they had to research diagnosis for more info? Regardless, nocomplaints here. One suggestion: if we could upload PDF files of test results received from our vet's test clinics, turn around time for reimbursement could be shorter and saves Nationwide time as well from unnecessary research or delays. Thank you for great coverage and for caring. 😊

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
