Minnie is being well taken care of.

Minnie is getting older. Her allergic airway disease is stable. Her medicine is very expensive, but it keeps her airway clear. I appreciate all that Nationwide has covered for her and will continue to cover for her. I am very grateful that Nationwide has pet health coverage. Thank you very much.

Amazing company to have by my side and my dogs side (I have three dogs all insured with Nationwide)

Nationwide is always on my side and my dogs side. I would not insure my dogs with any other company. I adore the people who are so friendly, willing to assist, so understanding and so knowledgeable. The price is perfect for the type of insure that I have on all three of my dogs (I have twin American Eskimos and a Border Collie). I always tell people about Nationwide and encourage them to insure their pets with you!

Awesome Insurance Company for pets!!!!!

We have been with this insurance company when it was VIP Pet and find that Nationwide is truly "on your side". Nationwide is the best pet insurance plan a pet owner can have. The representatives are very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. The coverage is outstanding from well care to illness or injury!! We highly recommend it to everyone that we meet who does not have insurance or asks us what company they think is best.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
