Best Pet Health Insurance Available

We got Bailey as a young pup and didn't realize the trouble they can get into. After researching many options, I chose Nationwide Pet Insurance as it included preventative. I didn't realize I would need the insurance for the young pup for sick visits early on. He is a fun-loving, curious dog I don't know how I could live without! Nationwide Pet Insurance has been there every step of the way, from healthy to sick exams, and everywhere in the middle. They are the insurance I trust and would recommend to anyone. Nationwide Never Fails Our Dogs!

We have had Nationwide for many years for all of our basset hounds and now for our Shih Tzu and new rescue basset. We are greatly appreciative of the speed at which they answer our claims and the excellent coverage.

Fantastic Insurance

Bentley has been a challenge medical wise, but Nationwide has been there to help us pay for the vet bills. Buying pet insurance from Nationwide when Bentley was a puppy was the best investment we ever made

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
