Nationwide has the best Pet Insurance

I work in health insurance and thought why not get pet insurance. I knew I would use it at some point. I just didn't think it would be used as much in 1 short year.. And to think how much Nationwide actually cares. Not only did I get my reimbursement in a quick time frame, I also received and email wishing my dog the best and a speedy recovery. Now that's a company that care about their customers.

Great coverage and service

The insurance has been great and easy to submit Bill's and easy processing. The automated process is easy and secure. Love this pet insurance and 5 of my other friends and colleagues have now have nation wide.

Pease of mind with pet health insurance

I have been very thankful for having Nationwide insurance the last few years for my English Bulldog. She has been extremely healthy and we mainly used her coverage for regular yearly checkups. Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel or change coverages for our baby since Nationwide has increased premiums for next year by over almost $90.00 a month. We will not be able to pay $200.00 a month for her health cover. We have had great experience with Nationwide and hate to change companies but this price increase is crazy.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
