Thank goodness for pet insurance
I will never go without pet insurance. This is now the 2nd time, two different pets, that we have used it. I rave about it and encourage all to get it all the time. The only thing I wish was that the turn around time was a little quicker. That took almost 30 days to process.

Thank goodness for Nationwide
After end of life costs for our two elderly bulldogs that we lost in 2017, we got Nationwide insurance for our new puppy in Sept 2017. I am so relieved we did! Not only did the 90% wellness policy cover spaying, vaccinations and a couple of ER visits (that dog chews up more stuff...), but we found out by chance that she had really bad hip displasia. Nationwide allowed us to get her first FHO surgery and PT to give her the best chance at a full and healthy life. The other hip will need to be done next year, but we are so glad to know that Nationwide will be there for us. We’re on a fixed income, so we were a little hesitant about the premiums, but because of them, we still have a small savings account AND a healthy dog!

Best Money on my Pet
I am so pleased I purchased pet insurance on my Sassy. The visits to the Vet have been costly and having insurance that helps is a great reassurance. I would highly recommend every pet owner to get pet insurance but not just any pet insurance, Nationwide Pet Insurance. I have ease of mind that my Sassy is covered for any illness, injury or wellness.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
