Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a godsend, enabling our dog to have the best veterinary care.

Chloe has had problems with her digestive system. Most of her stools have been loose to very loose. Lately they have improved but we never know how to treat it. Dr. Fitzerald's Veterinary office has been helpful but it's a constant battle to get a normal stool. She also has a love her very much! She will be nine years old on 1/20/2019. Great Decision

So pleased I decided to purchase pet insurance through Nationwide! The cost is reasonable, customer service is terrific. Very easy to submit a claim and it is paid quickly. The explanation of benefits is very helpful. Will always use and recommend Nationwide for my pets.

Worth every penny!

Your help is the BEST!

I’m a disabled retired woman and your pet insurance is the best! Being on a fixed income takes it’s toll on people and thanks to you I don’t have to worry about taking my dogs to the vet. I know that the monthly payment I make insures that my dogs can go to the vet when sick and also for their yearly wellness check ups and shots. It surely helps me knowing that I will get some money back after paying the vet. I have had your insurance for many years and plan to keep it for many more. Thank you!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
