Best Investment Ever
I have had my dog home for six months now, and in that time I've convinced 9 people in my life to get pet insurance through Nationwide. It is far and away the best thing I invested in when I brought home my Piper Kate. It is so easy to use and process claims. The timing is efficient. And the cost per month EASILY fit into my very small budget. I went with the Wellness Package as well, and I have to say, if you're getting insurance, get that too. It is worth it, 100%

Very happy to have peace of mind with pet insurance from Nationwide.
It has been great for me (owner of 4 dogs) to have pet insurance. I have not run into problems with getting paid and have had some issues with my pet that included her need for surgery which was paid well and I was very grateful I had the insurance. The reason I gave 9 stars and not 10 is because processing time for claims is a bit lengthly and would like to see that improve.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
