Life saving service

Nationwide has given them the means to protect my corgis - which I consider members of my family. With swift reimbursement and monthly premiums payable through my employer, Pet insurance has ultimately eliminated the stress of the high cost of veterinary care and has given me to luxury to redirect my attention to where it counts - being able to provide my corgis with the care they need to live long, happy and healthy lives. So grateful for pet insurance.

Always pleasant to work with!

I have been with Nationwide for almost 2 years now and have never had a single issue with them. They are always there to answer any questions that I have and I always get my reimbursements in a timely manner. I also think it's great that after any reimbursement for vet visits due to an illness they are always checking in on my dog to see how she is doing. Nationwide truly cares about their customers and the pets they insure!

Very helpful and caring

My claims are always processed quickly. I have used the vet helpline and they were great. Wrinkles was just diagnosed with a low thyroid and I appreciate receiving an email asking how he was.

Amazing coverage & QUICK Reimbursement

I was amazed at how much I was reimbursed and more so at how quickly I was reimbursed. It was so easy. I just filled out one form with the itemized bill supporting my claim. That was it! Even the form I had to fill it was short and sweet. The whole claim and reimbursement process was quick, easy, and not at all tedious, stessful, or intimidating. I'm 100% happy with the tire of coverage I chose and the clams process. It's reassuring knowing my 3 dogs are covered and protected. Thank you! 🐕

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
