Very Helpful!

Been using this company for a number of years now. Yes, there is a deductible, but once that is met, we get 90% back on covered services. And, you can choose the level of services/coverage you want for your pet. Our kitty had his annual dental visit - and yes, required a tooth extraction (as is common per his breed). We were covered! I added the dental coverage when we adopted him. If you’ve had many pets, you know how expensive quality vet care can be. We really appreciate having Nationwide on our side....pun intended.

Thanks for your Help!

It's been a hard year for Artie and me; moving away from our old urban life in California to a less urban, small town life in rural Oregon. Artie made it through raccoon attacks, fox-tails, extreme weather (including a long stretch of fire smoke from all over the west coast) and being with a new, great vet who has set him on the road to good dental hygiene, and we're better than ever. Hoping for a healthier, happy new year for both of us. Thanks for everything.

Great Coverage - Long Waits

I'd like to start by saying that the coverage of this plan is great. It is worth it to have piece of mind in case anything comes up. However the claims process takes a very long time. I tried submitting claims both through the Vetline App, and by fax. Both times, Nationwide told me they never received my claim. Meanwhile significant time had already passed. During another event, my wording was a bit off on one claim. I wasn't made aware until 28 days after I submitted the claim. Therefore I had to submit a new claim, and wait another full 30 days to receive payment. I completely understand waiting 30 days to receive payment, but I wish the claim approvals/denials was faster. I'd like to know within 1 week if my claim had been approved, even if that meant waiting another 3 weeks to get paid.
