Nationwide has done well by our dog.

Our dog has been a client of Nationwide for a number of years now. He has had quite a few veterinary visits over the years. Nationwide has helped us pay for those visits. Nationwide has been very fair in the disbursement of those funds in those claims. I certainly can highly recommend the company for anyone with animals.

Nationwide pet insurance is a literal life saver!

Our cat Lupin has had a Nationwide insurance plan since he was a kitten. Nationwide pet insurance has always been great to work with, but they have been a godsend since Lupin was diagnosed with feline fluid cystitis earlier this year. Not only have we saved hundreds of dollars on Lupin's veterinary care, but we have never once had issues submitting claims or getting reimbursed. So very thankful to be with an insurance company that values our pet's well-being as much as we do.

So far so good....

So far so good. I had insurance for my other German Shepherd and she just passed after the good old age of 14 years. I did check out other insurances for our new dog Rufus and I guess there is always some sort of trade off when selecting. I did find perhaps your insurance offered the most of what I needed.

This insurance has saved my dogs life

I don’t know what I’d do without nationwide. I only ever recommend nationwide insurance to clients at my job (I work at a vet hospital) because of how amazing they have been with all of my dogs issues. He has cost them over $15,000 and he’s barely 2. I truly am beyond thankful for them.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
