EXCELLENT HEALTH INSURANCE

Nationwide has been there every step of the way for us with Patriots surgery and follow up Physical therapy sessions and medications required to keep him pain free. I have been with Nationwide for several years now and will never be without it !! I also recommend it to my friends with precious animals they own. Thank you Nationwide.

Nationwide is our lifesaver! (literally)

Nationwide was offered through my company and we got it when we adopted a puppy because it seemed like a good idea. Boy was I right! Nationwide coverage has been INCREDIBLE. Here's a random list of things that have happened in our first 6 months: we discovered our dog is allergic to bees, he opened his neutering stitches, he ate staples, he had kennel cough, puppy shots, and we learned our dog has a genetic disease that requires surgery. It's been an intense learning curve and Nationwide has quite literally been the only reason I'm not starting a Go Fund Me to save my dog. I am eternally grateful to Nationwide for their un-ending support.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
