Importance of pet insurance

My sister recommend we get pet insurance when we got our dog. Thank goodness we listened. Pets can expensive especially when an unexpected issue occurs. Nationwide has been great.

So grateful for Nationwide

Trust and appreciate all Nationwide has done to help with my K-9 Opal’s care. She is a SAR dog with exposes her to a higher risk on injury and they are always there to support us.

Covered my pet in time of need

I was a bit concerned initially as to how much of the surgery would be covered by the insurance. Thankfully , I have never has to have my pet have surgery before. I live in NY and vet rates are typically much higher on customary preventative procedures and not fully covered. However, I was very grateful when I was fully reimbursed for her injury , covering my case at 100%. Thanks for providing me with peace of mind. I highly recommend Nationwide for over 7 years.

Nationwide is a life saver!

Nationwide pet insurance gives me peace of mind knowing if Marley has an accident (which has happened!) or develops something I haven’t budgeted for (which happens often!) I will be able to provide him with the best possible care without worrying about the cost. Marley has a disease that previously caused him to have diarrhea constantly, accidents in the house, and often feel pretty miserable. If Marley didn’t have insurance, I don’t think I would be able to afford the medications that keep him happy and healthy!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
