Jeni is feeling great on her allergy meds.

Jeni is now talking allergy medicine for the itching and chewing and it seems to be helping tons. Her surgery seemed to have helped as week and no UTI’s. We love her insurance and it makes us feel that if something would happen she would be ok. ~smile~

Nationwide took away extra worry

We had our new English Bulldog puppy, Pippa, insured for just two weeks when she decided to chase our old cranky kitty around the house. Fed up with all the commotion, my husband opened the door to let the chaos out, and the kitty decided to get even. She chased the startled puppy right off the deck. Pippa slipped between the rails and fell about six feet to the ground, breaking her humerus bone (elbow). Through a series of emergency vet visits and phone calls she had surgery scheduled for the very next day, at the cost of over 5k. We didn't even pause to think about it and had her get the needed surgery as soon as possible. Hoping her cat chasing days were only on temporary hold, we went along with life just fine (have you ever tried to keep a puppy from moving around??). Her first follow up appointment however showed that her healing bones had pushed the pin out of the bone and into her muscle. She had to have a second surgery to remove the pin. At the follow up for the second surgery it was decided that the screw that was put in place also needed to be removed. So, three surgeries in six weeks on our poor girl. Nationwide has been nothing but supportive and quick to respond with any of my questions, and has helped us focus on getting our puppy back at her feisty self, rather than worrying about bills or being dropped for coverage. Getting insurance on our Pips was the best decision we've made this year, other than bringing her home of course!

Efficient customer service

Very pleased with Nationwide thus far. My claims have been processed so quickly and my refund checks sent almost immediately ... much faster than I anticipated! Best insurance plan we could have asked for to cover all the expenses for a first year puppy (numerous vaccines, spaying).
