Would not have a pet without Nationwide on our side

Nationwide has been a great partner in caring for our puppy.

Never regretted after switching to this insurance for both of pets!

Thankfully I have very healthy pets (a dog and a F2B Savannah cat). However, my Pitbull once in a while has one ear problem. Anytime our vet submit a bill - we are almost immediately reimbursed. Any question to a customer service is always accepted with the respect and understanding. Also it's really nice to have "one family" discount for multiple pets. I recommended this insurance to numerous of my friend and no one was disappointed. Thank you for your service!!

I was lucky enough to find a wonderful employee Nancy who has made dealing with claims so much easier.

Wish that once you submit a claim you could be reimbursed quicker. But the first year I had my puppy she has a ton of health issues, due to bad breeders. I eventually came acrossed a wonderful employee who now I send all my claims to first and she looks over to make sure they are done correctly then forwards to the claims department. She made having pet insurance so much easier.

Very happy with nationwide

Been with nationwide for 9 years and never had any issues. A little slow processing claims but overall they are a good company.

If they can find a way to deny claims, they will.

Honestly, I am disappointed with how the insurance denies claims by using pre-existing terms. I said it once, and I'll keep saying it. I already knew Piper had a murmur. I did not take her to the cardiologist to diagnosis the murmur, as it was already diagnosed. Nor, did I take her to the cardiologist to treat the murmur in any way. I took my puppy to the cardiologist prior to having my puppy spay to make sure she could withstand the anesthesia for the spay surgery. It was for the purpose of making sure I didn't make the wrong decision with putting her under. It was determined her heart was strong enough for the surgery, and honestly, finding out the murmur had actually subsided was a plus. But, of course, the insurance denied the claim for the cardiologist automatically saying it was for pre-existing illness. No, sorry... wasn't! Again, what part of the visit diagnosed or treated the murmur? In the notes from the cardiologist, it clearly states Piper is clear for spay surgery. That was the reason for the visit, so I wanted to make a statement about that in this review. I want people to know it is like every other insurance. If they can get out of paying a claim. They certainly will!
