Happy with the coverage
I’m happy with the coverage although when I calculate savings vs, annual premium, I basically break even. But I’m ok with this. Claim process is easy and I do like the electronic payment feature.

Great insurance
I have been with Nationwide, formerly VPI, for about 12 years, both my dogs have had big and small heath issues and so far I can't complain.

Easy and cooperative company to deal with.
We have a sweet Cavachon who unfortunately has a sensitive stomach . Often throws up. Is on prescription dog food.
Has had a couple of other health issues.
We have Nationwide major medical and are grateful for it. They have has been there for us.
Other than regular check ups, shots, etc. our bills have been covered.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
