Peace of mind knowing my family member is covered, in the event of illness or injury.

I am so greatful to have such reliable coverage for Gizmo. I wish I never had to use the coverage, but it gives such peace of mind knowing he is covered when unexpected illness arises.

Great customer service and extremely happy with the coverage

I have two dogs now, and previously had another. I often take my dogs to visit the vet at the same time and receive only one invoice. Nationwide-Pet Insurance works with the invoice I have and separates the charges for each dog appropriately. I use the app on my phone which makes it very easy. The checks take a couple weeks, but I don't think it has ever been more than one month. Also when I was a new customer I had loads of questions. I spoke with Alison for a long time and she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. My dogs have been seen for regular check ups and shots, ear infections, split pads, and other minor injuries causing me to make back the money I have spent on the insurance making it well worth it for me. I know there may be years I spend more on having the insurance than it's worth, but I know there will (sadly) come a time that I will have many large vet bills when my dogs get older and it will be a relief to know that I will not have to worry about excessive bills during such a devastating time. I didn't have pet insurance for my previous dog and had bills totaling more than $5,000 which I am still paying off. Then my girl dog got cancer a month later and her bills totaled almost $5,000. If I had signed up for the insurance 3 months prior when I learned about it, it would have saved me the financial concerns. I didn't worry about the money at the time I was making the decisions for either of my dogs so having the insurance wouldn't have changed anything except not having to pay for it later. When I was signing up, I asked Alison about my girl dog having had cancer and how that would effect her coverage. Even though my girl had cancer, she is still covered for everything else! And since she has been cancer free for the required time, and her cancer is not reoccurring or metastatic, I understand it that she will be covered for any other cancer she may get in the future. My dogs are like my kids and if I ever have human children they will have insurance, so why not my fur kids? And Nationwide-Pet Insurance has made the whole process easy and understandable. I would totally recommend them (and have) to anyone inquiring about pet insurance!

Very happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance.

I am very happy I chose Nationwide for my Min. schnauzer 's medical insurance. It has been a life saver for him over the years. He recently was very ill with pancreatitis and was in hospital for 3 days. This was very serious and would have died if not treated quickly. Needless to say it was very expensive but Nationwide Pet Insurance saved the day and paid the claim as usual in a timely manner. I have had Shadow insured with them since he was five months old and he is now 14 years old. They have been wonderful all these years and really care about our pets and the care they need. Thank You Evelyn Brock A very happy customer
