I was nervous after reading some reviews online but great!

I was nervous when reading reviews online about pets not being covered because of random preconditions. We had neuter surgery. I called before to express my concern. Someone answered right away and let me know that all should be fine and I should be covered. We received payment a week or two after submitting claim and my previous claims all came in at the same time! Very happy!

I’m very thankful for this service

This is the second dog on this plan. I’m very thankful for this Insurance. Because you never know when they may get I’ll or have an accident.

Peace of mind

Having pet insurance gives me peace of mind. I pray my dogs will never have any major problems, however, I sleep easier knowing that Nationwide will be there for me. I believe Nationwide has been fair with all of my claims.

Great coverage and customer service gives us peace of mind!

Our little guy is a high maintenance pup, so we are so grateful that Nationwide offers a plan that will reimburse us for even the most basic vet expenses! The ability to email claims is incredibly convenient and easy. We love the peace of mind we get from using Nationwide!

Great coverage

Very easy to work with and great coverage. If I could change anything it would be the speed at which I receive my reimbursement. 30 days seems too long. Also I wish I didn't have to accept the payment every time and that it would just be automatically direct deposited into my account.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
