At first it wasn’t explained to me how the plan, specifically making claims works, but once I was informed it was great.
My vet had to explain to me how pet insurance works. I wasn’t used to making claims like this. Originally afraid my insurance wasn’t cooperating, but once I figured it out everything was smooth.

My review
I love having nationwide for my kiddos especially when it comes to their well visits and preventitives. I'm really grateful for nationwide. I wish the processing time for a claim was just a bit quicker. But otherwise I'm happy and plan to have nationwide for every pet I own.

Service
I have had a wonderful experience with Nationwide Pet Insurance. My only issue is that it normally takes the entire 30 days for a claim to be reimbursed.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
