Awesome

Ohana had an outbreak of hives, I tried Benadryl at home. I decided it would be best to call the vet. I was able to get her into the vet that afternoon. By the time her appointment came around her hives were worse and her face was swelling. The vet was able to treat her, I paid the bill. The next day I took my vet a claim form, they submitted and in about 3-4 weeks I was reimbursed at 90% for her visit. I love Nationwide and recommend it frequently on some of the pages I follow on Facebook.

Paw-sitive thinking!

It seems like my Great Dane, Archer, only gets sick on the weekends! Luckaly, I never have to worry about weather or not to take my baby to an emergency room when his vet is closed because we know Nationwide will be on our side! It's so much easier to stop worrying about the vet Bill's and just get our puppy the treatment he needs WHEN he needs it. Now we can put all our energy into thinking Paw-sitive about our puppies chances and be there for every step of his recovery! I

Wonderful Service!!

Our 2 year old lab needed to have TPLO surgery on both knees. We had the first surgery done in December and the 2nd surgery done 7 weeks later. Having the insurance made this so affordable for us. Our dog, Dodge is doing great. Every time I submitted a claim, within 2 weeks I had a check in the mail from Nationwide. I have recommended Nationwide to all my friends. Thank you for making this experience stress free for us.

Thank god for insurance

Tyson counter surfed and ate 2 lbs of grapes which required a trip to the emergency vet. It was reassuring to know that pet insurance would cover at least a portion of that trip. You don’t have to second guess an emergency her trip when you know you have insurance.

first time taking dog insurance, we have no complaints

unfortunately, we've had to use it twice on our puppy--------------but the experience was positive both times and the puppy is doing well.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
