Pet Insurance is Necessary
I purchased pet insurance for my two cats when they were 4 months old. I don’t remember any type of “Pet Insurance Reviews.” I got quotes from 3 companies. Nationwide was not the carrier of my cats’ insurance policies at the time, but the original company was bought out by Nationwide several years ago. Even if I wanted to move to another insurer, I couldn’t. Like human policies, once the pet has pre exhisting conditions, the owner is unable to change policies because those pre exhisting conditions will no longer be covered by a new insurer.

Please, join the digital age. Fax and snail mail are horrible ways to communicate with you customer and make them submit claims. Add capabilities to let me submit and track the claim online.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
