Claims are so easy, they almost fill out themselves!

The claims are so easy to submit. I appreciate how easy it is to print out the form, attach the documents, and fax it in. I can do this at work in under 5 minutes! Customer service has always been so helpful.

Highly Satisfied, Good Customer Service

I have been with Nationwide for over a year now and have submitted two claims. Both were processed within a reasonable amount of time. So far so good.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is awesome!!!

Best thing I have done is to get Nationwide Pet insurance for my furry baby. Had other coverage with different carrier had bad experience but Nationwide is awesome!

I am very satisfied with my pet insurance!

The only thing that would make the coverage even better is if there were ability to submit estimates for proposed major vet services ahead of the actual services to see if they would be covered or to assist in determine which option to take. I have heard that other pet insurers do offer that.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is valued

We are able to handle the emergencies that come along and not worry about seeing the vet thanks to having insurance for our dachshunds. We budget the insurance and Nationwide helps us see that our dogs get the medical care they need when emergencies come along. We are thankful for this coverage. It has helped us a lot.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
