Best thing I could do for Jeni was get her health insurance
Best decision I ever made. My yellow lab has allergies and has had a few ear infections and having insurance on her helps me take the best care for her that I can.

So glad we have pet insurance!
Sometimes we go months betweenvet visits and sometimes it seems we go several times a week with one pet or another. People think pet ownership isn't expensive but doing it right and not having to postpone vet care is expensive. Nationwide picks up the bulk of the cost and lets me manage a significant but reasonable monthly cost. Having those reimbursement checks come in is awesome.

Great coverage!
Immediately I adopted my cat I made sure he was insured, I wanted a plan that included wellness care and this was the only one.
The premium is good, I paid for 90% coverage so It's a little bit more expensive but worth it in case my furry baby gets sick.
The only bad thing I could say is that It takes almost a month to get reimbursed and that's kind of long in my opinion.
Other than that, it's easy to claim expenses, I snap a few pictures
and that's all, then they deposit to my account. Easy right?

All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
