Claims Process is great. efiling is easier and faster if you don't actually go through your account

Going into file your first claim can be scary and a little daunting. When I logged onto my account it took 3 steps or more to get to the form that you have to pre-fill, save and email back. Not super easy. However if you don't sign in and select file electronic claim from the home page for NWPet you only need to input your account number, your pet's name and include the invoice from your provider. Super easy! That's what it should be about: low effort for the customer.

Grateful for Thorough Coverage

When I got my dog (Tupper), I wanted to ensure that I would NEVER have to consider putting him down due to the cost of the veterinarian's bill. I started his coverage when Tupper was 6 months old - and now he's 15. I have been happy each step of the journey. I am grateful to Nationwide for giving me the ability to meet whatever challenges arise!

Nationwide was very easy to deal with in getting some coverage for Mister Kitty's tests. Everything went fast and smooth!

Mister Kitty is getting older, and needed some tests to make sure everything is going smoothly for him. These kinds of tests add up, so I submitted a claim to Nationwide. It took only minutes to submit, and in a few weeks, Nationwide sent me some money to cover the expenses. I didn't have any issues with them, and they always seem happy to help. :)

I picked the best insurer for my pet family.

Nationwide has stepped up! My pet family is taken care of very well. My pets go into see their vet. and get the best treatment. Nationwide steps in to help me with the high cost of that visit. My claim is submitted and time it takes to get the assistance from Nationwide is fast. Keep up the good works Nationwide.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
