Perfect

Nationwide has been so helpful. Fiji is my first dog, he's one now and he's a mixed bulldog. We have come across many health issues throughout the last year and things always happen, as for any dog! Nationwide has been efficient with reviewing our claims and available for help as needed. I forgot to update my new card information when my old one expired and they were happy to accept my payment after i received a notification letter in the mail. They are understanding and affordable! Thank you Nationwide for being flexible and making this journey a less stressful one. Highly recommend for all pet owners!!!

Gratitude

I am so grateful for pet insurance. Angus' tooth issues were serious ( and seriously expensive). Taking such a large financial hit all at once can be devastating. You've made pet ownership so much easier.

Thank God for Chloe’s insurance!

Chloe has had some significant issues the past few years. I don’t know what I would do if it wasn’t for her insurance. The last bout with her toe amputation was paid quickly and the coverage was a pleasant surprise and such a relief. Thank you, Nationwide!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
