Usual and customary great service continues

Dinky, our Alaskan Klee Kai, developed a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and needed a few unexpected trips to the vet. When Dinky adversely reacted to a prescription medication, we did a trip to the emergency vet (of course, on a Sunday). We were at the vet's office from 3:50 pm to 1:20 am. Dinky was vomiting at least hourly, loose bowels, and becoming emaciated. The vets did a wonderful job on Dinky who made a full recovery. While most vet bills are not exciting, after-hours, Sunday vet bills are REALLY not exciting. Nationwide Pet Insurance came thru for us like a champ. Thank you, Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Thankful

Even though my claims weren’t absurd nationwide covered my pets medical bills and gave me peace of mind knowing I only had to pay my deductible.

Love Nationwide Pet Insurance

I love the ease of enrollment, the type of coverage available and responses to questions. If I had to say one bad thing, is they take quite a bit of time to process a claim (3-5 weeks), I would definitely recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
