Nationwide is great

I got Nationwide insurance for my dog when she was a puppy. We’ve had years when she rarely saw the vet and years where we would have had to omit some treatment due to the cost if I didn’t have insurance. I am so grateful to have Nationwide Pet Insurance for my precious Dakota

Nationwide routinely has reviewed and processed my claims for Dakota's healthcare very promptly. In this instance it took a little longer because the vet never included a diagnosis. It does trouble me that coverage does not include behavioral medicine particularly since behavioral issues so effect physical health

Faster Claim Refund

This was the first claim I have ever filed with nationwide pet insurance. I have Healthy Paws for my other dog and you are reimbursed from them within 5 working days, so Nationwide Pet Insurance was much slower, but I am still happy with the outcome and overall benefits of Nationwide. I would recommend you trying to use an app to apply claims and then process time reduce to 5 working days or less. I would recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to my friends. Thank you so much. Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
