Such a hassle
It has taken multiple submissions, and refutations, to get any money from this company. They are still denying claims related to a kidney/urine related condition my vet was testing her for. They claim it was a pre-existing condition. It was not.
My vet has offered to call and help to fight the denials of these claims. I am worried they will deny her recent emergency vet bills as well. I pay for pet insurance for what? To give Nationwide money and then not get reimbursed? What a terrible experience. I have heard Healthy Paws is much better, and even covers wellness visits. I wish I would have gone with them, and am considering doing so once this policy is up.

Appreciate the coverage, even though it only covered a portion of the overall bill.
Helped offset some of the cost, but coverage limits do not cover enough for this procedure ( gastro- intestinal foreign body)

Peace of mind
Nationwide Pet Insurance is a must for any pet owner! I have the Whole Pet With Wellness on two of my pets and it has been so comforting to know that anything that comes up is covered, from checkups to dental care and more. We have two cats with asthma and one who just had to have extensive dental work. I love that budgetary constraints are a non-issue because of the insurance so we can always make sure that anything they need is taken care of and we can get them the best care possible! Claims are super easy to submit and always processed before the credit card bill is due.

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
