It was such a relief knowing that I had insurance with my baby was sick. I didn't have to worry about where the money would come from. It is easy to complete the forms and send in. It is usually a quick turn around time. I love the new direct deposit feature.

Great pet insurance, wouldn't be without it as the cost of veterinary visits are so expensive and she is family.

After my previous lab had so many health issues and we spent a small fortune in taking care of her, I researched pet insurance when we got Katie. We loved our first lab, Sandi, so much, we would have done whatever it took to keep her as healthy as we could. We lost her in 2009 due to a complication from a surgery we had undertaken to help her live a better life. She was just shy of 12. We were devastated. When we rescued our current lab, Katie at 14 months in 2010 I immediately purchased the the VPI insurance for her. It has been a life saver. Although the cost of the insurance has risen greatly, I believe it is still a necessary part of having her as a part of our family. I wouldn't be without pet health insurance in today's world. We love Katie as if she was our baby and would do anything for her. I have the both the accident coverage And the wellness coverage. Great insurance

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
