Great company to do business with.
This is a wonderful company. They were one of the companies our vet recommended. Their assistance with all our vet bills has been a life saver. They have covered virtually everything we encountered with our Sophie. I could never envision doing business with anybody else. I am so glad we got pet insurance through Nationwide. If you don't have it, get it. Thank you.

Extremely Pleased with Everything!
We signed up for Nationwide because we never wanted to have a situation where we had to choose whether or not to afford to keep our dog alive. We also went with the Wellness Plan to ensure the most coverage for our little pooch.
Since signing up, we are completely and utterly satisfied with the experience. Our little guy is only two years old but he's already gotten into a fair amount of trouble and has needed routine care as well. It is such a relief to know that no matter what happens (barring a few exceptions) or where we go, we can take our dog anywhere to be cared for.
It's the safety of knowing we can afford his care that eases my "new parent" anxieties.
In addition - the claim system is quick, easy and efficient. Very pleased by the response time and the coverage. Couldn't be happier!

great insurance
Nationwide is awesome! I had to make multiple claims when my dog was sick and they paid everything after my deductible was met. They completed our claim very fast and was reimbursed within 2 weeks!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
