Great

We are very happy we got insurance for our puppy. The 24/7 hotline has been very helpful as has all conversations we have regarding packages and payment options. I have encouraged many of my coworkers to sign up with Nationwide since I have had such a great experience.

Get this pet insurance as soon as you get your pet! You will never regret it

Our Boston terrier are 11 and 10. They are in fairly good health but have had their share of health or injury issues over the decade. This insurance has been a tremendous help. The claims are simple to submit and the reimbursement arrives very quickly. Definitely a 10

Very helpful to have this insurance. the claims process has been easy, no extra hassle.

I am so glad I purchased this insurance when she was a puppy. It has been very worth while for us, since we have an XL breed of dog, the vet bills can pile up VERY quickly. A percentage of ALL care is covered with the plan we have, the vet files the claim for me and all seems pretty smooth so far. So Grateful to have it!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
