Nationwide policy has been a life saver.
Our dog was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia when he was under a year. He had to undergo hip replacements on both sides. The cost would have caused us to make a very difficult decision as to whether or not he could have done the surgeries. After he turned two, we found out that he has severe elbow dysplasia and arthritis on both sides, as well. He will continue to need treatments and potentially more surgeries. Poor guy... Otherwise, he's the best dog I've ever parented. Sweet, kind, loving, and playful. Without Nationwide, I probably would have had to give him up. The premium cost may seem high but it pales in comparison to the medical costs of these types of treatments.

Nationwide helps me provide the best possible care for my beloved dog.
I've had nationwide pet insurance for my dog, Maddux, since he first joined our family as a puppy. along this journey, I found that, unlike other pet insurance companies that look for any excuse to deny a claim, nationwide has consistently provided excellent coverage for Maddux's healthcare needs. As Maddux has aged into a senior dog with more medical needs, having nationwide has been so important to making it easier for me to provide the best care for him.

Happy to have Nationwide Coverage
Happy with my Nationwide coverage on my pup. It gives me an ease of mind knowing she will be taken care of. Very easy to work with and claim process is painless.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
