Amazing

When I got my dog Ellie, my wife and I decided that we are going to give our dog the best life possible. That included getting pet insurance. I've had dogs through the years but I never had coverage for them. This time, I was going to get it cause you want to be prepared for the unexpected. I can tell you, I was not disappointed in choosing Nationwide. They have been there for those times you could never prepare for (injuries, Pet ER visits). They are a lifesaver and I highly recommend all pet owners to get coverage through them.

Wish things moved faster

The website is the easy part. Having to wait while there is processing time is very difficult financially. Wish that part could move a little quicker.

I am o happy to know that I can take proper care of safeguarding my pet for years ahead due to the Nationwide Insurance coverage

I could not afford to keep my pet as healthy, or look forward to extending her life without the pet insurance coverage that enables me to do so without undue stress over the financial arrangements. My pet will have a chance of a long healthy life where she is loved and feels physically at the top of her game, which makes me happy too. Thank you for helping me to afford to take the best care of my pet possible. I so believe in this that I recommend it highly to all pet owners that I meet.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
