Nationwide Pet Insurance is Great!

I have ha my Yorkie insured by Nationwide Pet Insurance since she was 1year and 4 months old! They have been great in helping me keep her healthy! Submitting claims is so easy to do online! The response time for processing claims is also fast and the money is deposited directly into my bank account! How great a way to keep your pet healthy and happy! Love Nationwide Pet Insurance! I have recommended Nationwide Pet Insurance to many of my friends and even to people I meet at the Dog park and pet stores and at the Vets office! I think they are Great!

Very Happy with Nationwide

I have been very pleased with VPI now Nationwide insurance. I have been a customer for almost 9 years. The turn around time on claims is very good. The only thing I have been disappointed was when the company would not allow me to upgrade a few years ago. The request was declined because my dog has an eye condition that she came down with 2 years after my joining. The eye problem was considered a pre-existing ailment and therefor I was rejected. I was extremely disappointed where my dog has been with this company since a baby.

Easy Claim Process

The claim submission is easy and app is a great tool to leverage. My only gripe is the lead time for claims to be reviewed and reimbursed. This can be quicker.

Complicated diagnosis

Little did I realize my dog would get so sick and then have to endure a process of elimination to find a diagnosis. I am was o pleased to have my vet take care of the paperwork for the insurance and so happy that I decided to insure both of my two dogs. The process is made easy and Nationwide is so easy to work with. Thank you

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
