Love Nationwide!

Having Nationwide Pet Insurance has really eased my mind as I have 4 dogs and each time one goes to the vet it adds up but knowing I have insurance for each of them really gives me peace of mind and I know I am doing everything I can for each of my dogs.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is a MUST for ALL pet owners! Especially when you adopt from a pet shelter not knowing what is in their blood line.

Piece of mind knowing my pet is covered.

I've submitted a few claims for our cat Oliver and it has always been very easy once the vet has a copy of the claim form on file. We are seen, pay for the visit and the office takes care of the rest. Reimbursements are quick via mailed check and we will most likely setup e-deposit in the future for even faster reimbursement. Nationwide gives us piece of mind knowing Oliver can be well taken care of with preventative annual visits and should the unthinkable critical illness or accident occur, we know we can count on Nationwide to help cover the cost for the best care we can find for Oliver. Believe it or not, going direct through Nationwide for coverage saved me money and provided better benefits than what my employer was offering for Nationwide pet coverage. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Nationwide to fellow pet owners. Thank you Nationwide for providing this service for our little companions!

Outstanding!!!

I cannot speak highly enough about Nationwide. I got coverage when my little girls was 11 weeks old so have many years of experience with them. In all the years of coverage, Nationwide has always reimbursed me per their policy commitment (that is very detailed and specific) without any questions, aggravation, or hedging even with very expensive accidents and illnesses. I know what coverage Nationwide provides per their policy of payment/coverage which has helped tremendously with my peace of mind when my little girl has needed emergency treatment for life threatening incidents.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
