Knowing I had insurance for my Toy Poodle allowed me to provide him all the care he needed without hesitation.

My Toy Poodle was recently diagnosed with anal sac cancer. Due to the insurance coverage I have had since he was a puppy, the coverage allowed me to obtain all the tests, surgery, and positive results he needed. His cancer did not spread to any other organs since we had him diagnosed early and we have always been proactive in maintaining his health. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind I have knowing that he is cared for by the best vet and the best insurance provider.

The BEST of the BEST!!!

I am so thankful for Nationwide Pet Insurance for my little girl. She has bad skin allergies and if it were not for the help I receive from Nationwide Pet Insurance, I don't know that I would be able to get the care for my little girl that she needs. lifesaving support

This insurance was there for me when my cat started having heart disease issues. Because of my coverage, I have been able to keep my beloved cat alive instead of having to make an awful decision based upon costs. My cat is responding well to his treatments and I am so happy to have him here by my side!! Nationwide clearly cares about our pets living long and happy lives. Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
