Excellent Review

I have been extremely happy with Nationwide pet insurance unfortunately it is with a heavy heart that I tell you Millie passed away on June 5th she had to be euthanized she was 15 years old she lived a really good long happy life but had a few health issues the last couple years and I was so thankful that I had Nationwide pet insurance for her I have nothing but good things to say about the company they always paid my claims on time and never questioned anything I sent him after my last claim is paid I will no longer need pet insurance but down the road when I get another dog I will be sure to sign up again

Getting this insurance when we got our dog was the best decision we could have made.

We absolutely love Nationwide. We have not had one problem and it’s very easy to submit claims with an app and they reimburse us quickly. It makes giving our dog the best possible care a no-brained.

Very positive experience with Nationwide

My six year old Dobe has had a number of unexpected medical issues and Nationwide has been great with their coverage. We have been using them since we brought our dog home at 12 weeks old. They have always been easy to work with and consistently process our claims very quickly.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
