Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

We have a soon-to-be 2 year-old Labrador retriever named Maggie May...:) We decided to take a chance with an insurance policy for her, as part of an illness/injury plan...Wow, what a great decision!...She is just an amazing animal! And with Nationwide, we do not hesitate to provide her with the best healthcare...:) For example, we noticed some skin irritation 'hot spots" and erratic itching early on, so we immediately took her to NCSU Vet School for a complete work-up. Who would've known that we were actually making matters worse due to a food allergy (all things chicken!), and are looking for the environmental triggers now....She even has her own shampoo- which is very reasonably priced online...We now have begun shots to build her immunities, while still exploring her "triggers"...It's a process of elimination, along with the shots, and I so appreciate the coverage with Nationwide- she is doing great! She can now easily enjoy the outdoors and water as all labs do- and she certainly LOVES being outdoors! So a huge thank you to Nationwide for the continuing support and coverage for our beautiful Maggie!

I never dreamed of insuring a dog. After adopting this little guy, I had flashbacks of a $3000.00 injury to our past dog (I am sure that procedure cost has escaladed since then). This pup goes everywhere, including dog parks (injuries happen there all the time), car rides (pets injured in car wrecks), loose dog attack, coyote attack & the list goes on! I am very confident that Nationwide would reimburse me for some of the cost. Pup is covered from nose to tail! Sending a claim is soo easy & the reimbursement checks come quickly. No complaints here so far! He has been covered for a year now.
